Symptom
Detector QAP failures of one or more test can result from the following causes: See long description: QAP failures of one or more test can result from the following causes: Incorrect collimation, or presence of collimator blades in the beam, Mispositioned QAP phantom, Defective or damaged QAP phantom, Inhomogeneities in the tabletop or covering material, or Bad detector. To determine if the QAP failure is due to inhomogeneities in the tabletop or covering material, follow four steps: Determine if the wallstand (if exists) is passing, but only table QAP is failing, Remove tabletop material from frame, Perform gain calibration on table, Repeat QAP test. Often, the indication that the tabletop material is the cause of QAP failures is that a CNR test will fail, while all other tests pass. The service key is required to determine the individual QAP failures.
