Auto Prescan Fails with TG Reached the High Limit on GE Head Coil Scans 2224589 TG reached the high limit. Body Coils transmit scans do not exhibit high TG faults.
Error message
2224589 TG reached the high limit. See Long Description Suite: MR01 Host: OC0 Proc: MSG_HANDLR0 Error: 2224589 File: PMH.m 1.29 Method: ps_send_ta Line: 50 TG reached the high limit. Check patient positioning and verify the patient is not touching the transmit coil. Try Auto Prescan again or use Manual Prescan. Note: On later systems, this same error code has been slightly reworded to read as follows: Thu Jun 12 11:06:12 2008 Error: 2224589 Host: MENEMR Process: NSP File: TPS:aps_exec Line: 4062796 TG reached the high limit. TG has been set to 190. Check patient positioning and if desired try Auto Prescan again or use Manual Prescan.
