Low Signal intermittently only when using Quad Knee coil
Symptom
Intermittent Low Signal when using the Quad Knee Coil. 0.5T system running 5.4 software intermittently has a problem where the received signal is very low using the quad knee coil only. The problem never occurs when using the head coil, which of course uses the same transmit/receive path. The FE has already replaced the quad knee coil, quick disconnect box, and Exciter. When the problem is occurring they can see the RF sense lights flashing on the power monitor, indicating RF is being sensed there. Customer is not doing anything wrong either.
