Pop-Up Attention Box recommending SPECIAL FastCal be run

Symptom

Pop-Up Attention Box recommending SPECIAL FastCal be run. See Long Description for details. Customer will see attention box when Special FastCal required. RT16 Special FastCal required with the release of FMI 22918 sw_version: 08BW17.7 TUBE WARM UP AND CALIBRATION To optimize image quality and workflow, a SPECIAL FastCal procedure has been implemented which runs on specified date to replace the previous 75-minutes-interval Warm Up attention message customer was seeing thoughout the day. The following procedure is recommended. FastCal – the normal FastCal should be performed once per day. A SPECIAL FASTCAL – A SPECIAL FastCal will be required once every 4 weeks to ensure the equipment is in the best condition. When the Attention Box of SPECIAL FastCal pops up, SPECIAL FastCal must be executed after the tube temperature is completely cool, then it takes less than 30 minute to complete the calibration process. The Attention Box will show up from the beginning of the fifth week since the last SPECIAL FastCal and it will keep popping up every 6 hours during the whole fifth week until this action is taken. Otherwise, only large focus is available for scanning beginning in the sixth week. A SPECIAL FastCal will use same button with the current “ Fast Cal”. Note: The customer is NOT required to run the SPECIAL Fastcal at this time. They have ONE week to perform this calibration. If you have the customer perform the calibration at this time, they will have to wait 2 hours and 45 minutes for tube cooling if they have been scanning prior to the pop up message. The recommendation should be to run the Special FastCal first thing in the morning when tube is cold, thereby eliminating the need for tube cooling. It is IMPORTANT to remind them to NOT Warm up the tube, and go directly to the Fast Cal button. The Fast Cal button will look different during week Five when the Special FastCal should be run. Do not click “Tube Warm up” when you decide to run the SPECIAL FASTCAL. Select “OK” to hide the Attention Message Box and then click “ Fast Cal” button. If click “ OK “ , the Attention Box will post indicating remaining tube cooling time. When waiting time counts down to 0 minute, click “OK” again and then desktop will switch to SPECIAL FastCal desktop. If click “cancel” , the Attention Message Box will disappears and desktop will switch to Normal FastCal desktop automatically. If click “ Quit” , the Attention Message Box will disappear and the system returns to the Daily Prep window. Please note: Do not pause X-ray exposure during the SPECIAL FastCal is in progress. Otherwise, the fastCal may fails .
