How to Remotely Query System for ICN Manufacturer See Long Description Sometimes we need to remotely determine the manufacturer of the ICN(s) installed at a site. The reasons for this are that some ICN problems are specific to a certain manufacturer, so we need to know which one we are dealing with. Also the GE part numbers are different between the manufacturers. If we're recommending ordering an ICN, we need to know what part number to recommend. Two manufacturers have supplied ICNs: Dedicated Computing and Sun. Is there a quick way to query the system remotely to find out which one it is?
