TPS reset fails with 2223854, 2223859 and 2223880 with only VRE failing due to software.
Symptom
TPS reset fails with VRE errors 2223854, 2223859 and 2223880 Only VRE fails. SCP, AGP and APS Pass.
Error message
2223854 Extended TPS Reset in progress (up to 8 minutes). Please be patient.-> See Long Description 2223854 ERROR: EM_mrNSP_VRE_RESET_PROLONGED Extended TPS Reset in progress (up to 8 minutes). Please be patient. Extended Error: One or more ICNs of the VRE might have been non-responsive during a TPS Reset. We therefore reboot all ICNs in an attempt to recover. The operator will experience longer TPS Reset times because of this. 2223880 Reset TPS was not successful. Board Failure Status APS: Pass, SCP:Pass, AGP:Pass, VRE:Fail. see long Error: 2223880 Host: OVMRI1 Process: NSP File: TardisReset.cc Line: 491 Exception Class: Unknown Function: Host: NSP Reset TPS was not successful. Board Failure Status: APS: Pass, SCP: Pass, AGP: Pass,VRE: Fail. Extended Error : The MGD failed to start a TPS Reset. Either the serial connection to the MGD STIF Board is not working or the Ethernet connection from the Host to the MGD Hub is not working. Run the APS, AGP, and SCP Host Data path ping tests to check the Ethernet connections. Run the APS, AGP, and SCP Board Level Diagnostics to check the SCSI Serial Expansion. The STIF Board serial connection is not tested. If both sets of diagnostics pass
