Symptom
Scanner seems to be running slow WITH Unrecovered data block read error in /usr/adm/SYSLOG The scanner seem to be running slow and the following error was in the SYSLOG. To get to the SYSLOG cd /usr/adm Then type more SYSLOG Nov 29 12:25:21 6A:anact03801 unix: dksc0d1: <6> retrying request Nov 29 12:25:21 6A:anact03801 unix: dksc0d1: <6>[Alert] Media error<6>: Unrecovered data block read error (asc=0x11, asq=0x0)<6>, (data byte 36)<6>, Block # 1102732<6> (7041932)<6>
