Table Longitudinal Drive (In/Out) Behavior Not as Expected Following Installation of FMI 67704, 67706 or 67624.

Symptom

Table Longitudinal Drive (In/Out) Behavior Not as Expected Following Installation of FMI 67704, 67706 or 67624. See Long Description Table longitudinal drive (in/out) behavior is not as expected following installation of one of the FMIs listed below: 67704 HFO5 M4 SP4 UPGRADE (OpenSpeed with Excite systems running OPENMR5 software) 67706 HFO3 M4 Service Pack 2 (OpenSpeed systems running HFO3 software) 67624 HFO4 M4 SP3 UPGRADE (OpenSpeed with Excite systems running OPENMR4 software) The FE just installed one of the FMIs listed above, and now the table in/out drive behavior is different for customer workflow, based on one of two mistaken expectations, as given below. The customer is complaining that the table in/out drive behavior is not as expected. When she hits [Move to Scan], the table begins to drive in, but as soon as she removes her finger from that button the table immediately stops. It used to continue driving until the table arrived at the scan position. Customer believes the system now has a new problem. The customer and/or FE knows that the table in/out drive behavior is supposed to be different after installing one of these FMIs, but it isn't. It behaves just the same as it always did before the FMI was installed. The customer and/or FE believes the FMI installation did not work, because the table travel is just the same as it was before. What's wrong?
