Error message

Error: 290012000 View corrections were applied in view # The errror 290012000 "View corrections were applied in view number" message indicate the Image Generator or recon software detected a corrupt view and has applied view corrections to image. This Error alone does not indicate a problem. See service note SN05102815a. Wed Feb 13 13:46:25 2008 Error: 290012000 Host: ig3 Process: image_generation File: MissedView.cpp Line: 129 View corrections were applied in view 5400. exam/series/scan = 345/2/1 From SN05102815a Error code 290012000 is a status notification that Recon has made a correction to maintain image quality. This error is transparent to the Customer and has no effect on system performance. This condition is generated when the IG reads in the scan data and checks the KV signal for each view. If the KV signal drops below a certain threshold, a correction is made by design. The low KV signal can be defined as a "High Voltage Disturbance". Do not assume the tube is the source of the problem. A healthy tube will typically generate 2000 to 3000 of these events during its normal life. Other potential sources for high voltage disturbances are the Jedi Generator, HV Tank, and cabl

'*** 2ND OPINION NOTES *** Perform Rotor Control Diagnostics--If tube rotor fails to reach RUN mode in three ACCEL steps look for: High Drive output currents Low Drive output voltages and Low Drive output frequencies. This indicates a load problem with tube. With rotor running turn off Gantry 120V power at PDU. Listen for excessive noise and short deceleration time. A good rotor will coast for several minutes without power. NOTE TO FES AND DCOS TEAM: IF SELLING TO AN END USER AND NOT INSTALLED BY A GE FE, AN END USER CERTIFICATION LETTER MUST BE SIGNED BY THE CUSTOMER. UPON RECEIPT OF SIGNED LETTER, ORDER CAN BE PLACED. **TO OBTAIN COPY OF CERT. LTR. CONTACT DCOS TEAM AT 800-558-2040 OPTION 2. **ANY QUESTIONS, CONTACT LYNN WESTBROOK OR ROD MCCRIMMON. ******* NOTE: D3194T tubes now manufactured, have a one inch longer high voltage cable. The longer cable is necessary for all Wide Bore Gantries. ( If a very old D3194T tube is installed on a Wide Bore Gantry, the high voltage cable may be too short, and a new D3194T tube must be ordered ).
