Symptom
MRIQ No or Little Signal From Coil Elements 5 and 6 of 8CTL Coil See Long Description and Attachment. This is a 1.5T HDxT system running 15.0 M3 0845.c software. The customer called to complain that the lumbar spine images are missing signal in the coil element 5 and 6 area when using the 8CTL coil. (See the image on the left, below). The customer tried the identical model coil from their other scanner on the same patient and said it worked fine, so the problem must be the coil. See Attachment for the images.
