drive slow park latch does not work
Symptom
drive slow park latch does not work
Error message
solenoid fails 1) The Park Latch solenoid actuator falls off behind the LVLE PSU,this causes the latch to not be released when tube raised from park. The actuator can be put back in place and secured with a tiny blob of locktite,NO parts required. Early sets have a solenoid with an internal thermal switch that can fail,,,they do not have the park sensor pcb 2173060 and the solenoid clicks every time they move the tube. There is a mod kit to change park sensor pcb The Park Sensor PCB 2173060 (Hall effect device operating a relay instead of plunger switch) has very bad solder joints and fails due to vibration This causes the set to go SLOW and the solenoid latch not operating as it thinks the tube is not parked
