LightSpeed 7.x (VCT, VCT Select, Pro32)
Symptom
System will not take any scout or helical scans. Axial scans works. See Long Description for detail Scan hardware stops scan on any scout scan or helical scan attempts with error Timeout on Table gate signal (Cradle Sync Pulse). System would still take axial scans ok. FE indicated that whenever a scout or helical scan was attempted, the gantry would rotate and the table would move as if it was doing the scan, however the xray on indicator would never come on. The error below would then post in the gesyslog: Fri Sep 8 11:48:58 2006 Error: Host: Process: Scan Control File: scTrigSeqActions.c 1.65 Line: 1526 Function: XRAY GENERATION : Table - Gantry Sync Scan: 5564/1/1 Type: Helical Exception Level: Pri/Most Severe Time: 11:48:58:255 Log Series: 132 Timeout on Table gate signal (Cradle Sync Pulse). HW/SW Error: Probable hardware, possible software, problem. (Timeout: 796).
