Symptom

Advanced or InHouse Service Key Not Working The Advanced, also known as InHouse, Service Key is not working. The yellow key icon appears on the Service desktop with a red blocking symbol over it, indicating it is not a valid key. New Advanced Service Keys sent to the site also will not work. On installation of a new Advanced Service Key, the host computer's hostid is written to it, preventing its use on any other system. But these are new never-before-used keys, so why is this happening?
