Remove and refit the gantry Mylar ring
Remove the Mylar ring (the flexible sheet that seals the joint between the gantry front cover and the dome cover) and refit it with a verified, gap-free fit. You typically do this to gain access for other gantry cover/front-cover work (see Related — the X-ray tube replacement procedure removes this ring as an access step), or to reseat/replace a ring that has come loose or is leaking.

Safety
Hazard: Mylar ring not in full contact with the dome cover (gap left at the seal)
Consequence: Blood, contrast medium, or other fluids can leak through the gap into the system, causing equipment damage or degraded image quality
Avoidance: Mount the Mylar ring securely; verify contact around the full circumference (fit-check steps) before returning the system to service
