Set up and verify the gantry rotation servo amplifier

Check every rotation-servo user constant against its standard value, and — if you need to change one — do it safely through the servo amplifier's own panel operator. This is the electronic counterpart to belt-tension adjustment (see Related): where that task tunes the mechanical drive, this one confirms the servo amplifier's own configuration (gain, position, speed, torque, sequence, and function-

Safety

WARNING

Hazard: Servicing the servo amplifier with the system powered — this task requires the panel operator to be live (CP1 and CP320 back ON) while the servo-unit metal cover and gantry left side/front covers remain open, to read and set constants

Consequence: Electric shock or injury from unexpected operation of a section assumed to be de-energized

Avoidance: Supply power only to the parts being serviced (per safety library G-D04): keep CP1 OFF for as long as possible while covers are open (Preparation steps 1–4), and only restore CP1 (step 5) and CP320 (step 6) once the metal cover is off and you are ready to read the panel

CAUTION

Hazard: MC113 in the servo unit stays live at its input terminal even with CP1 OFF (safety library G-CA19)

Consequence: Electric shock from a terminal assumed dead because CP1 is OFF

Avoidance: Treat MC113's input terminal as live at all times in this task, regardless of CP1 state

NOTICE

Hazard: Operating SW320 instead of CP320 to remove power, or leaving SW320 out of the NORMAL (downward) position during this task (safety library G-CB13)

Consequence: Damage to the servo amplifier (equipment-only — no personal-injury hazard stated in source, so NOTICE per Z535)

Avoidance: Leave SW320 in the NORMAL (downward) position for the whole task (Preparation step 7 — confirmed by the rotation warning lamp staying off); use CP320, never SW320, whenever you need to remove servo power
