Remove and mount the gantry rear-upper covers (left and right)

Remove the left and/or right rear-upper cover panel on the Activion16 gantry to gain service access, then remount it. The two panels can be worked independently — except for two shared M4 screws that fasten both covers together at once (see Safety/NOTICE below). You'll also do this as a required first step before removing the dome cover (§1.3.5), which explicitly depends on this procedure.

Applies to
Activion16 (TSX-031A). No model/revision restriction stated in source; standard gantry rear-upper cover assembly (independent left and right panels).

Safety

CAUTION

Hazard: Cover is unsupported once its screws are out — it rests loose on the hook plate

Consequence: Dropped or swinging cover panel — pinch injury or cosmetic/edge damage

Avoidance: Support the cover by hand as you lift it clear of the hook plate; do not let it hang or drop

NOTICE

Hazard: The 2 asterisk-marked M4 screws are shared fasteners between the left and right covers

Consequence: Reinstalling only one side without the shared screws leaves the adjacent cover loose or misaligned

Avoidance: Track the 2 marked (*) locations separately and tighten them together with both covers during mounting
