Symptom
Unable to View Serial Communications Displayed in APS, AGP, or SCP Terminal Windows, Garbled See Long Description and attachments SMILe 11/9/2004 Effectivity: All 1.5T, 3.0T, HFO and MFO EXCITE-based systems. Problem Description: When one executes the script 'mgd_term' or selects the tool 'Login to APS, AGP, and SCP' from under Utilities on the CSD, the serial text printed in one or more of the terminal windows may be garbled and unreadable. This does not affect system operation. This only affects the ability of the FE to read serial text output from one or more of the three processor boards in the MGD Chassis when troubleshooting. This problem is usually only seen directly after an installation or after the Term Server has been replaced.
