Symptom

Error message
“PCI: Failed to allocate mem resource #6” and “FATAL: Error inserting...” errors). “PCI: Failed to allocate mem resource #6” and “FATAL: Error inserting...” errors). (For 6.2.9 OS) The bootup screen changes for each OS version. The 6.2.9 OS Boot-up Screen display (shown below) contains output which may be misunderstood as a Host hardware or software issue. For example screen below, refer to “PCI: Failed to allocate mem resource #6” and “FATAL: Error inserting...” errors). Additionally, whenever the HSP ethernet cable is disconnected from the Operator Console bulkhead, Firewall PNF errors may occur. Ignore these errors. Any other errors should be investigated.
