Precision 500D Digital system “lockups” when entering new patient data
Symptom
P500D On the Digital computer PATIENT INFORMATION SCREEN, the Patient Birth Date field follows a format MM/DD/YYYY (order depends on date selection in General Configuration). If the operator types data that is out of range for that field, (i.e. month greater than 12), the field will remain highlighted, and the digital screen will appear to be locked up. The system will not respond to the tab or the operator will be unable to change data in any other field until the data out of range is deleted and entered correctly.
