Precision 500D Iris LUT Cal Problem

Symptom

P500D During a recent PM attempted to go through imaging calibrations, and Iris LUT AV03 would not complete properly. See long description: The calibration would start normally, but as the steps advanced (steps 1 towards 22), Iris progressively closed, and the digital monitor image darkened with the change in steps (the image would stop getting darker just before the cal stopped advancing), but then it would stop advancing usually at steps 11, 14, 17, or 18. The exposure would continue but the calibration wouldn't complete. FE released exposure control, restarted exposure, and the Digital Monitor displayed an error message ""System Control error, restart exposure or reset system"". Released and restarted exposure and the cal sequence would started back at step# 1. On other attempts the steps advanced, the IUI message said calibration completed, but the Digital Monitor had an error message ""ABD value did not decrease, repeat calibration.Tried canceling out and restarting the cal, ran all Digital Diagnostics (all passed), ran QAP (passed), checked SUIF error log (error 1103012, ABD value did not decrease when Iris Xmit reduced, Digital; and error 3600044, Sys Cntrl Gitane acq reg not correct, Sys Cntrl), reseated cables, conn, and PCB's. Tried a dozen other attempts with the same results.
