P500D NDF filter did not get removed from the beam after a digital record.
Precision 500D Fluro with no image checking optics status with the debug screen
Symptom
P500D NDF filter did not get removed from the beam after a digital record. See long description: Synopsis from the logs: Tube warm-up in AM Load patient onto table Several long PF runs One Dig. Rec. run Several short/rapid PF runs Several short/rapid CF runs Several short/rapid PF runs: Unload patient ~20 min. pause Several short/rapid PF runs ~1 hour pause Presumably, the FE arrived now Several short/rapid PF runs One Dig. Rec. run Several short/rapid PF runs System reboot Observations: 1) During step 3 & 4 a) mAs ~ 0.2-0.3 b) ept ~ 225 2) During first PF run in step 5, the mAs and ept ramped up rapidly (mAs ~ 1.52, ept ~ 474). 3) mAs and ept remained abnormally high until step 15, where they returned to more normal values (for an empty table at this point). 4) This behavior clearly supports the theory that the NDF filter was stuck in the beam during the PF and CF runs, resulting in black (or very dark) images. Apparently, the NDF filter was successfully removed from the beam on transition from step 14 to step 15."
