Symptom
P500D If all of the following conditions are true, the RCIM has not initialized properly. 1. Exposures do not work properly. 2. The RESET Button doesn't work. Pressing it for 1 second doesn't generate a tone, and it doesn't initiate a system reset. 3. The RCIM doesn't play the 3 tones at startup 4. Only the Power On LED is ON, no other LED's are ON. The inhibit LED doesn't light up when it is supposed to (such as when the room door interlock is open) 5. Pressing the volume up and volume down buttons on the RCIM2 doesn't generate a tone.
