How to add a default network route or static network route address to a system.
Symptom
How to add a default network route or static network route address to a system. A site may require a default route and/or a static route set up on the system when it is necessary for the CT system to network images to remote host(s) that is not located within the local sub-net that the CT resides on. While there can only be one "Default Route" defined on the CT system, there can be many "Static Routes" defined as necessary. Static Routes are limited network routes specified for a particular IP address or a range of IP addresses. In the event that there is no static route defined for a given address or range of addresses (and the address is not in the local sub-net), the Default Route will be the one that is used. If there are no static routes defined, the Default Route would be the only route out of the subnet.
