Unable to Manually Setup a Default Route Due to Command To Set A Default Is Different With Linux vs.

Symptom

Unable To Manually Setup A Default Router Using The Route Command On A System Running Linux OS See Long Description The system is a 1.5T Excite mobile running 11.0 M4 software. FE is trying to setup a default route with the manual route command as we have always done with UNIX systems but it fails with the following: [root@lx-mr]# route add default gw 10.206.0.30 1 Usage: inet_route [-vF] del {-host|-net} Target[/prefix] [gw Gw] [metric M] [[dev] If] inet_route [-vF] add {-host|-net} Target[/prefix] [gw Gw] [metric M] [netmask N] [mss Mss] [window W] [irtt I] [mod] [dyn] [reinstate] [[dev] If] inet_route [-vF] add {-host|-net} Target[/prefix] [metric M] reject inet_route [-FC] flush NOT supported
