Which CDROM Drive To Order for Profile. CDROM drives go end-of-life by the manufacturer. Backward compatability for available CDROM drives has not been established. This leads to the CPU not recognizing what drive is installed and failing to load the correct drivers. Also, some of the part numbers for the drives are no longer stocked.
