Images networked to the PACS have a comma added after the patient name or within the patient name. Exams from this scanner sent to PACS are unspecified due to a comma in the name. See Long Description Customer states that when images are networked to the PACS, a comma is added after the patient name. Example: SmithJohn, Or, customer might report the comma is embedded between the last and first names, like this: Smith,John This is causing a patient name mismatch on the PACS. Exams from this scanner sent to PACS are unspecified due to a comma in the patient name. The name is coming across as last,first. The name is not being separated into Last and First.
