When booting the system, the Viewsonic monitor's display stays black or blank as though there is no video for an abnormally long time
Symptom
When booting the system, the Viewsonic monitor's display stays black or blank as though there is no video for an abnormally long time I could see activity on the HP computer. LED was indicating HDD activity. But the monitor remained blank. The LED on the monitor remained yellow. I pressed power button on front of Monitor. It displayed message indicating there was no video detected. Milwaukee engineering was able to log into system remotely, but monitor remained blank. After several minutes waiting, the Login box appeared on monitor. SPR MRIhc15957 I could see activity on the HP computer. LED was indicating HDD activity. But the monitor remained blank. The LED on the monitor remained yellow. I pressed power button on front of Monitor. It displayed message indicating there was no video detected.
