The Upper Coldhead Does Not Turn Off When Scanning. See long description. Coldhead cycling is not working, the upper coldhead does not turn off when scanning. FE did the setup on the SHEM and had the OLC successfully run a Checkout. Can telnet between the MR and the SHEM both ways. The magnet pressure and HE level are good so this should not be causing the failure to cycle the two stage coldhead. The following error is seen in the /usr/g/service/log/tcuErrors log: 06/10/2004 13:04: PMColdHead.cc:29 Comm with SHeM failed 06/10/2004 13:04: PMHost.cc:425 CH Status unchanged: Previous Status = Communication Fail, Current Status = Communication Fail
