How to Determine the Host ID on the HP 8000 Computer. The Host ID is derived from the MAC Address on the Network Board which is located in the bottom slot of the HP. The Host ID is written to options and is not transferable. If the Network Board is replaced, options will need to be restored through eLicense or ordered.
