Symptom
Unable to scan with error logged 2267813 Safe mode startup of the XGD (XPS-SB Z axis) failed See Long Description Unable to scan with error logged as shown below. The PDU was not in Stop mode; pressing the EMO Reset button on the PDU and resetting TPS had no effect. Wed Mar 17 21:27:10 2010 Error: 2267813 Host: MRICAMB2 Process: NSP File: SCP:GradientHwo Line: 1943 Exception Class: Unknown Severity: Unknown Function: Gradient: N/A PSD: Unknown Coil: Unknown Scan: -1/-1 Safe mode startup of the XGD (XPS-SB Z axis) failed. Check EMO reset and perform a TPS reset. If this error occurs again, contact your service representative.-> Extended Error: The XPS-SB Z axis board in XGD failed to boot into safe mode. * Verify that the XGD is powered on. * Verify that emergency stop is not active. * Verify that the Z axis hotlink and clock fiberoptic cables are connected from the XPS-CB Z axis transceivers to the XPS-SB Z axis transceivers. * Verify that the Z axis hotlink transceivers are operational on the XPS-CB and XPS-SB Z axis. * Verify that the Z axis hotlink and clock fiberoptic cables are not damaged. * Power down the XGD and verify that the XPS-SB Z axis is properly connected. If these steps do not resolve the problem, replace the XPS-SB Z axis and perform a TPS reset.
