Unable to do a scout scan. Table moves to scan postion, but the green light in the Start Scan button on SCIM never flashes. See Long Description for details Unable to do a scout scan. Table moves to scan postion, the Start Scan light does not illuminate, or the Start Scan illuminates but when pressed nothing happens, or the Start Scan light illuminates solid (normally it flashes / blinks ). After rebooting the CT, or reseting the Scan Hardware one of the Gantry Control panels (keypads) is blinking / flashing [Err] When the scanner is ready to scan the green light in the Start Scan button (on the SCIM at the console) should start flashing (blinking) indicating you should push it to start the scan. The green light in the button never lights. A few different scenarios can happen 1) (Scout) Move to scan lights, when pressed table moves into position, but The <Start Scan> light never flashes to telling you to start the scan. If <Pause> is clicked on the scan screen then the <Start Scan> button will light (not flash), but when pushed scanner does not scan. 2) The <Start Scan> button lights, but when <Start Scan> is pushed scanner does not scan. <Pause> is the only button selectable on the scan screen. When <Pause> is clicked the loop starts over with the <Start Scan> button lighting, but when pressed again the scanner does not scan 3) The <Start Scan> button lights solid (normally it flashes / blinks), when pressed scanner does not scan After the CT has been rebooted, or if the Scan Hardware was reset, the CT still will not scan. The customer notices that [Err] is flashing on one of the Gantry Controls.
