Or; 2223860 VRE reset failed on ICN icn1 with MAC address XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX Or, 2223885 Host: hde-mr Process: logermes File: vreBmcUpCheck.pl Line: 251 Exception Class: Shutdown Function: Host: NSP System startup failed due to failure to communicate with the VRE!-> Extended Error: The system startup failure is caused by the failure to communicate with all configured ICNs. Please check that power is applied to all ICNs. Please check the Ethernet connections to all ICNs. You may also run all Ethernet and IPMI tests under VRE Communication Diagnostics to verify connectivity. As a last resort, VRE Configuration may be required to recover.

2223880 Reset TPS was not successful. Board Failure Status APS Fail, SCP: Pass, AGP Pass, VRE Fail. ErrorNo: 9. See Long Description Extended Error: The MGD failed to start a TPS Reset. Either the serial connection to the MGD STIF Board is not working or the Ethernet connection from the Host to the MGD Hub is not working. Run the APS, AGP, and SCP Host Data path ping tests to check the Ethernet connections. Run the APS, AGP, and SCP Board Level Diagnostics to check the SCSI Serial Expansion. The STIF Board serial connection is not tested. If both sets of diagnostics pass but yet the TPS Reset still fails then please closely inspect the serial connection between the SCSI Serial Expansion and the MGD STIF Board. APS, AGP, and SCP Board Level Diagnostics included. VRE failure can sometimes trigger the failure of MGD boards. Failure of SCP with APS/AGP board can be a indicator on the failure on respective board. On APS,SCP,AGP failure run the Board Level Diagnostics to conform the status. 2223852 The APS board reported a communication manager (CM) initialization error.
