2336885 MDAS 4 or MDAS 8 Convertor Board, replaces 2322994-3. See Long Description for details. 2336885 MDAS 4 or MDAS 8 Convertor Card, replaces 2322994-3 (see below) Part #: 2336885 Part Type: GP CONSUMABLES Part Weight: 0.48 LBR Repairable: No Returnable: No Hazardous Material: N Description: SERVICE, MDAS CONVERTOR BD FRU: Yes Status: Orderable 4 Slice versus 8 Slice Configuration The HiSpeed QX/i system can operate 4 slice per rotation, data collections mode, whereas, the Detector and MDAS are capable of operating 4 slice or 8 slice per rotation. From a hardware perspective the main difference is in the MDAS. The 4 slice configuration uses a depopulated MDAS. This means that all EVEN slots are empty. Only ODD numbered slots contain converter boards. Data collection is still performed in the same manner using only the odd converter card slot assignments.
