MAC00016 PDS Alarm Compressor water supply fault caused by the combination of water flow and temp being out of spec.Rebuild flow sensor per Service Note 67097-wqr.Magnet Monitor 3.5113506 Water Flow M…

Symptom

MAC00016 PDS Alarm Compressor water supply fault caused by the combination of water flow and temp being out of spec. The OnWatch engine has determined that the water supply to the coldhead compressor from the chiller is out of specifications. The combination of water flow and water temperature parameters is out of specifications. NOTE: The Digital Services (DS) Rules Engine detected this problem. This issue is only applicable when detected in this way, and should not be reused in Knowledge objects for normal reactive service. This is an automated alarm generated by the OnWatch program. An algorithm was run on the data uploaded from the MM3 into Insite2. The data shows that the water flow and water temperature as individual vales are with in specifications, But the combination of the 2 parameters is out of specifications. The OnWatch engine algorithm used the engineering specifications supplied by the manufacturer of the compressor, Sumitomo. This alarm needs to be resolved to extend the Coldhead and compressor lifespan. Refer to the latest appropriate service documentation here MR Magnet Service Documentation .
