Symptom
HP Computer does not reboot when console power is cycled by the console on/off switch. See long description for details Customer performs a normal shutdown and the console does Not Boot up. HP Computer does not reboot - when console power is cycled by the console on/off switch. The Monitor/LCD Screens are blank but the leds are lit on the Monitors/LCD Screens. Problem Details: An HP-8200 computer which does not power back on normally - Customer shuts down the system normally. Select System Shutdown- Select Shutdown then ok. - Computer shuts down and then the screen says halting. - Halting system - System Halted This is where you turn the power switch off and the back on again at the console but the console does not power up.
Error message
HP Computer fails to boot up and boot up messages say "Searching for device hda0" See long description The HP Computer is failing to find device hda0 which is the main hard drive.
