Scanner fails to boot to applications, Unable to verify DARC system startup.

Symptom

Scanner fails to boot to applications, Unable to verify DARC system startup. The system will not boot up to applications with a pink attention box: Unable to verify system functionality on startup. Please power cycle the console. If the system fails to startup after the power cycle, then please call GE Service. FE or OLE sees that they can telnet to the DARC but they cannot ping or rsh with the DARC. If the DARC is observed while booting, Drive X adapter X predicting future failure Press any key to continue is seen.
