Introducing the newest addition to our LightSpeed® series – LightSpeed RT, the first multi-slice, wide-bore CT scanner with the largest field of view in the industry. With a generous 80 cm gantry opening, the LightSpeed RT bore is 10 cm larger than conventional scanners. This provides complete flexibility for patient positioning freedom – even for the most demanding oncology needs. And the 65 cm variable field of view delivers 15 additional centimeters of visual coverage, allowing clinicians to see a patient’s entire anatomy for precise radiation therapy planning. Position and precision Thin, multi-slice imaging is the extra bonus – enabling respiratory gating, providing precise target delineation and delivering higher resolution digitally reconstructed radiographs (DRRs) than ever before. All adding up to the ability for you to deliver what really matters most – better cancer care for your patients. Plus, the LightSpeed RT scanner is available with the Exact™ couch insert, enabling you to consistently replicate patient immobilization for treatment. With LightSpeed RT, the future of your Radiation Oncology department is wide open. VCT 32 or VCT 64 7.x systems may ONLY use D3194T tubes. 5.x HP 100 and HP80 Gdas systems may use either D3192T or D3194T tubes. '*** 2ND OPINION NOTES *** Perform Rotor Control Diagnostics--If tube rotor fails to reach RUN mode in three ACCEL steps look for: High Drive output currents Low Drive output voltages and Low Drive output frequencies. This indicates a load problem with tube. With rotor running turn off Gantry 120V power at PDU. Listen for excessive noise and short deceleration time. A good rotor will coast for several minutes without power. NOTE TO FES AND DCOS TEAM: IF SELLING TO AN END USER AND NOT INSTALLED BY A GE FE, AN END USER CERTIFICATION LETTER MUST BE SIGNED BY THE CUSTOMER. UPON RECEIPT OF SIGNED LETTER, ORDER CAN BE PLACED. **TO OBTAIN COPY OF CERT. LTR. CONTACT DCOS TEAM AT 800-558-2040 OPTION 2. **ANY QUESTIONS, CONTACT LYNN WESTBROOK OR ROD MCCRIMMON. ******* NOTE: D3194T tubes now manufactured, have a one inch longer high voltage cable. The longer cable is necessary for all Wide Bore Gantries. ( If a very old D3194T tube is installed on a Wide Bore Gantry, the high voltage cable may be too short, and a new D3194T tube must be ordered ).
