Symptom

Infinia Daily QC - Co57 @0º and @180º peak was shifting 10 Kev During Infinia rotation peak shift around 10 Kev. Customer complains that during Daily QC - Co57 @0º and @180º peak was shifting 10 Kev, only for detector 1. During troubleshooting: When rotation from 0º Rotating clockwise, around 130-135º, peak shift 7 Kev (Co57 122 Kev to 129 Kev, Tc99m 140 Kev to 147 Kev) Counter clockwise, around 225º - same symptom. When returning to 0º Counter clockwise, around 50-45º, peak shift 7 Kev (Co57 129 Kev to 122 Kev, Tc99m 147 Kev to 140 Kev) Clockwise, around 315º - same symptom. Rotor power supply adjustment, inside specs ADAM swapped 1 by 1 between detectors, no change DOC change, between detectors, no change Cable from PMT, sector 1,2,3,4 disconnect 1x1, combined 2x2, no change Tube disconnect, 1x1 and by sector, no change Strange smooth nock after 90º clockwise (270º counter clockwise) before peak shift Contributor 100008553 B.Certo September 28, 2009
