Symptom
Unable to load IDC software on a replacement IDC. System is a XQI. See Long Description for details. Unable to load IDC software on a replacement IDC. System is a XQI. After loading software following IDC Software procedure listed in direction 2216876-100 rev 6 the idc would not communicate to the system even though ffff was displayed on the IDC. Using a terminal window on the AWS the ping function failed to communicate with the IDC ip address of 192.168.1.20. 192.168.1.21 would not also ping. The IDC had no IP address configured. Original IDC was a 2199347-7 running IDC SW 1.5.18 FE received IDC 2286100 with IDC SW 1.6.6 and rescue or jump start floppy V2.0 part number 2254136-3.
