Symptom
Center Smudge Artifact. Goes away with Fast Cals but returns same day or next day. See Long Description for artifact. Center Smudge Artifact, can be light or dark, usually a horseshoe shape or C shape, sometimes appears as a complete circle band. Reason for change in appearance is as the tube radiates heat to the Collimator Filter it expands changing the size of the crack and then the current calibrations can no longer correct for the crack.
