Unable to scan with SAR error code 2257273.
Symptom
Unable to scan with SAR error code 2257273. The predicted SAR downloaded was above the temperature de-rated SAR limit. See Long Description The system will not scan certain protocols with the error messages shown below logged. Thu Oct 8 11:48:37 2009 Error: 2257273 Host: mr34 Process: NSP File: SCP:CanUpmHWO Line: 2625 Exception Class: Unknown Severity: Unknown Function: RF: RF Power Monitor PSD: FSE-XL Coil: 8HRBRAIN Scan: 1240/2 The predicted SAR downloaded was above the temperature de-rated SAR limit. Please lower the scan room ambient temperature Predicted SAR = 2.1 SAR Limit = 2.0 Scan Room Temp = XX.XX degrees C-> Extended Error: The SAR limits are adjusted based on the temperature read by the scan room temperature sensor. For each degree above 23.5 degrees C, the SAR limit is reduced by 0.25. If the predicted SAR of a given scan is expected to exceed the SAR limit imposed by the scan room ambient temperature, the scan will be inhibited. The most likely cause of this error is the scan room air conditioning not being set to a low enough temperature. This could also be caused by a faulty scan room air temperature sensor.
