Auto Prescan fails with RF Amplifier Duty Cycle Fault. see long description MR450 only. Auto Prescan fails with RF Amplifier Duty Cycle Fault. Auto Prescan fails and/or scanning is paused shortly after the scan begins with a message similar to the following in the Error Log: 2254205 Function: RF: RF Transmit PSD: Spin Echo Coil: HNS Head Scan: 638/3 SRFD2 RF Amplifier Duty Cycle Fault. Unblank duty cycle exceeds 60%.-> This problem generally occurs when using a Spin Echo sequence with Fat Sat pulse, TE = minimum, TR = Auto TR and Xres < 384. Workaround: Observe the value reported on the UI in the Auto TR field. Modify this value by adding 15% and entering the new value in the TR field. Do not modify the number of slices. If problem persists, continually increase TR by 5% until fault no longer appears. An additional option is to increase the Xres to 384 lines or more.
