XGD Not Found Due to 48 Volt Power Supply(s)
Symptom
Application Software does not complete the boot process with TPS Download failure
Error message
2267728 Unexpected communication loss with XGD. Please TPS reset and try again. If this error occurs again, contact your service representative. See Long Description ERROR: EM_XGD_HWO_COM_FAILURE Extended Error: The SCP unexpectedly lost its Ethernet connection to the XGD. Verify that an Ethernet cable is connected from the GMC to the switch and that the link LED on the GMC Ethernet port is illuminated (top LED). Verify that an Ethernet cable is connected from the SCP to the switch and that the link LED on the SCP Ethernet port is illuminated (top LED). Power down the XGD and verify that the GMC is seated securely in its slot by removing and re-seating it. Power on the XGD and perform a TPS reset. Power down the MGD chassis and verify that SCP is seated securely in its slot by removing and re-seating it.
