Symptom
Problem renaming .dat files to .bat in Xeleris Click Start>Control Panel Double Click Folder Options Click View tab Deselect Hide Extensions for known file types Click OK File is now displayed as 123456.dat and can be renamed in usual manner to 123456.bat
