Symptom
Unable to format DVD RAM from the Xeleris User Interface with Xeleris version 2.1517 and higher There is a problem with the SW (starting version 2.1517) that prevents the user from formatting a brand new DVD-RAM media through the Xeleris UI. This is true for all DVD-RAM media, regardless of the media vendor. The problem is that the "Format" menu item in the repository area is enabled only if the DVD-RAM media has been formatted in the past. This means that the problem is not with the Format action, but with the button that starts it.
